FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Colleagues,
The Sixth International Scientific and Technical Conference “Safety, Efficiency and Economics of Nuclear Power Industry” — MNTK-2008 (Moscow, 21-23 May 2008) is aimed to forward resolving the most important tasks related to ensuring and enhancing safety of NPP operation, load factor increase, NPP unit lifetime extension and decommissioning, economical aspects of nuclear power effectiveness improvement.
The Organizational Committee invites you and staff members of your organization to take part in the Conference.

Papers
Paper abstracts of not more than 2-standard-page volume should be submitted for selection (requirements to preparation are given in Annex 1). Book of Abstracts shall be provided to participants at the beginning of the Conference, while the Conference Proceedings Book is planned to be released later on. The papers will be represented in the Book of Proceedings in their original language.
The demonstration materials should be submitted in the electronic form (Microsoft Office 97/2000/2003 - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access) on CDs or memory sticks.
Presentations of the papers should be made using a computer projector.
Organizational aspects
The requests for participation should be sent to Organizational Committee of the Conference using the forms given in Annex 2, or electronically by filling in registration forms, which can be found since 01/10/2007 at the Conference web-site at the following address: www.reamntk.ru
The Conference working languages are Russian and English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided at the plenary session, whereas consecutive interpretation is foreseen for section sessions.
Hotel reservation in Moscow could be provided to international participants on their request. Please use the form given in the Annex 2.
